Your project will certainly require council approval. Most areas in Perth have a two-step process:

1. Planning approval (development approval) which requires a site contour survey, floor plans, elevations, and shadow diagram.

2. Building approval which requires full documentation, plans, engineering, builder’s details, insurances etc.

The Design Mill team will arrange the council required documentation and liaise on your behalf to gain the approvals

We will give you honest advice in regards to design and construction. We will always challenge you and show you alternative ideas, yet will listen intently to your wishes and wants.

Should you choose to proceed, the schedule is signed, and the team starts on your design.

Our clients love this stage as ideas and thoughts are transformed into designs. Unlike many other designers, we use 3D software together with virtual reality! So you can get a feel for the design. Julie will leave the plans and model with you to digest. You can mark up any changes or ideas.
